There are lots of ranch vacations out there and lots of them seem pricey. Tumbling River is right in the middle of the price scale, and you sure get a huge bang for your buck as you add up all the activities you and your kids are doing; suddenly an all inclusive vacation becomes very reasonable. When you think about it, there are very few all inclusive family vacation opportunities in the US, especially as boutique as Tumbling River.

The cost of the Sunday-to-Saturday stay includes: accommodations (rooms have private baths and wood burning fireplaces), all home cooked meals and snacks, facilities (heated pool, hot tubs, outdoors spaces, games spaces), personalized horsemanship program, children’s programs, family evening activities, guided hiking programs, fitness and wellness classes, shooting sports, fishing on our private ponds and fly-fishing clinics, vehicle trips, and the overnight pack-trip.

Optional activities and services: We want to offer as many activities and services as we can to make your family vacation perfect. Tumbling River offers the options to add to your vacation: an all-day white-water rafting trip with Wilderness Aware Rafting Company out of Buena Vista, CO ($140 per person), airport transfers to and from Denver International Airport (contact us for pricing) massage therapy (the range runs $65-$115), exclusive guided fly fishing excursions with professional guides ($500-$650 per angler), and full service bar. There is a service charge of 18% added to all reservations.

General Rate Information
After a week at Tumbling River, we absolutely want your family to feel that your vacation was awesome and worth every penny. We do everything we can to provide you with the most comfortable accommodations, beautiful facilities, and fun filled activities for the entire family. Keeping your cost down and keeping our rates competitive is our first priority.
What’s included in your rates: The cost of the Sunday-to-Saturday stay includes accommodations (rooms have private baths and wood burning fireplaces), meals and snacks, facilities (heated pool, hot tubs), personalized horsemanship program, children’s programs, evening activities, guided hiking programs, fitness and wellness programs, live music, rock climbing, shooting sports, fishing on our private ponds, vehicle trips, and the overnight pack-trip.
What are the additional costs? The additional items that are not included in the above rates are: a 3.9% CO state sales tax and a service charge of 18%. We are a non-tipping ranch. No gratuities are expected, nor necessary.
Deposit Policy: We require a deposit of 25% of the total package. This deposit is due within 10 days of making your reservation. Should you need to cancel, the deposit (less 10%) is refundable if notice of cancellation is received at least 60 days in advance of your arrival date. Inside 60 days of your arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance of your rates is due 45 days prior to your arrival. This will include taxes and the service charge.
Any cancellations after the final payment has been made is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.
Any additionals will be paid at check out. Reservations made within 60 days prior to arrival must be 100% prepaid at the time of booking. Because of our small size, cancellations or rescheduling of dates affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation or date change gives us little chance of filling the space due to our remote location and short operating season. For these reasons we uphold a strict cancellation policy. Final Payment: We appreciate and encourage payment via credit card. We take the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you need to pay with cash, please contact us. We do not accept checks.
- Please note your guests’ responsibilities: all guests will be required to follow the ranch rules and guidelines, safety policies and procedures. We require all riders to sign a Participant Equine Waiver before arrival or upon arrival.
